I'm a singer/songwriter/pianist and touring, recording musician.  I believe in live music.  I believe people want to hear something better than what they're used to.  I believe in sweet catchy melodies.  I believe in art.  I believe people are inherently good.  I believe I'd like to meet you.

I keep changing my bio as my path keeps growing and changing.  I've had an amazing year full of artistic growth and direction.

I am in the process of making my next record right now, which will be released later this summer.  It's title is still undetermined, but I guarantee it'll be my best work to date.  I'm working with Nashville producer David Browning and I couldn't be happier about it's progress.  It's becoming a really enjoyable, artistic piece of work.  You won't be disappointed, I promise!!

I spent the first half of 2008 playing shows in Asia.  From February through May I played solo shows six nights a week in Seoul, South Korea on a beautiful grand piano.  It really solidified a lot of my ideas about song forms, art and entertainment.  I met and played for a lot of important people including the CEO of MySpace, some Korean movie stars and Kenny G.  Yes, Kenny G.

My first record 'Stars in the Attic' was released in 2006 and has gotten a great response.  It currently gets radio airplay in the U.S., Canada and in Europe, and a number of other internet based radio programs.  You can hear some of the record here, and in it's entirety for download at iTunes, CdBaby, Rhapsody and a number of other spots online. 

My influences include Nancy Wilson, Chet Baker, Aimee Mann, Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, Rufus Wainwright, Bjork, Portishead, Dee-Lite, Paul Simon, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Ray Charles, The Beatles, The Eagles, Southern Rock, 70's Rock, Cool Jazz from the 50's, classical composer Gustav Mahler, Leon Redbone, St. Louis Blues, Philadelphia singer/songwriters and too many more to list.
